Final Social media post

This was made in photoshop as well as a website named "Media Modifier". The process was quite quick despite the complex design, Its quick process came mainly from inspiration from example pieces I was given as well as real world press packs such as the Netflix press pack (Which inspired the entire pack). Making this enhanced my photoshop skills as I incorporated the use of gaussian blur as well as the combination of imagery and colour/hue changes.

Professional

Mine

Both social media posts show similar styles, in terms of genre. They also use a similar colour pallet with blues, blacks, whites and reds. They also use typography that is a convention to the genres they both work with, this entices the viewer and makes select imagery pop out from the rest of the shading and backgrounds. However, they both share many differences. For example, the one I made takes place after the crime has been committed, at the crime scene. While the professional one appears to take place during the crime, as shown by the knife stabbing the curtain. The professional one also appears to be much darker in lighting, with only the lines of the killer and shower curtain being visible. Despite the technique being similar, the typography is vastly different between the two.
